I work with adults, teens, children, couples, and families whose stress, overwhelming emotions, sense of being stuck, or relational challenges can benefit from individualized attention. In addition to continued meditation practice, there are times that compassionate therapy is beneficial: following trauma, a death or sudden loss, or a major change in life circumstances; when coping with long-standing suffering surrounding a family members mental or physical illness, abuse, or substance use; or when experiencing anxiety, depression, phobias, or low self-esteem. Therapy can be a valuable ally in overcoming suffering, and opening the heart to renewed kindness, compassion, and love.

Sitting practice at Insight Meditation Center (IMC) in Redwood City and extended retreats every year since 2004; daily yoga practice; Spirit Rock's Dedicated Practitioners Program 4, 2011- 2013 and Advanced Practitioners Program, 2016-2017, and Insight Meditation Center's Dharma Mentoring Training Program, 2014-2016; President of the Board of Directors and Director of family programs at IMC, co-leading groups and a family retreat for children and parents, as well as the Eightfold Path program and Introduction to Meditation at IMC.
