DESCRIPTION OF CLINICAL PRACTICE
I am an interactive, relational therapist emphasizing mind, body, spirit connection. My vipassana practice is at the heart of my clinical work. I work with individuals, families, couples, and adolescents.

VIPASSANA/MEDITATION BACKGROUND
In 1989 I began a daily practice of both sitting and movement meditation as part of my martial arts training. I enliven my practice through regular retreat practice and contact with my teachers. I am a graduate of the Dedicated Practitioners Program (DPP). Additionally, I am on the organizing committee of the Mt. Tamalpais Women's Retreat.

RELEVANT CLINICAL TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
I have a specialization in Grief Therapy. I am affiliated with the Comprehensive Cancer Center at Herrick Hospital. I have developed the clinical component of the family program for Grief and Growing, a healing weekend for bereaved children and families. I can help you understand your present moment experience of loss and connect it to your ongoing spiritual path. I currently supervise at The Women's Therapy Center and The East Bay Agency For Children. I am a CAMFT certified supervisor. I have training and experience working with the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and transsexual community. Additionally, I developed a therapy program at a homeless shelter and a domestic violence safe house serving women and children.
