DESCRIPTION OF CLINICAL PRACTICE
The work I offer is tailored directly to the needs of each individual and not arranged in discrete compartments which are then presented to the client. Therefore, Psychodynamic, Primal, Transpersonal, Gestalt, Reichian and Jungian methods have been woven together, over a long period of time, to create a multi-layered, effective and naturally human presentation. I have put this together within a spiritual and energetic perspective. My major work is with individuals and couples. Groups for men, women and couples are offered from time to time.

VIPASSANA/MEDITATION BACKGROUND
More than twenty years of daily practice and many long and short retreats. I have experienced the three month retreat at Insight Meditation Society center in Barre, Mass. The work I offer reflects this deep commitment to practice.

RELEVANT CLINICAL TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
I have been a member of the faculty at JFK University, Graduate School for the Study of Human Consciousness for many years and teach, supervise and consult with them. I also have been on the staff of Hospice/VNA as a bereavement therapist. Half of my practice is in Oakland and the remainder is in Sebastopol, Sonoma County. My demeanor is that of a mature, caring and compassionate, male psychotherapist with more than twenty five years of experience in all aspects of professional practice.
