DESCRIPTION OF CLINICAL PRACTICE
I offer in-depth psychotherapy for individuals, adolescents, and couples of all diverse backgrounds. Transpersonal, somatic, psychodynamic, relational and existential perspectives inform and inspire what unfolds.

My interest is in working with clients who are struggling to work through barriers that keep them from their full potential. My intention is to be both a compassionate witness and a strong ally - one who deeply respects the client's survival strategies, and advocates for his or her full aliveness. My experience includes working with trauma, depression, life transitions, various anxiety reactions, relationship concerns, death and dying, and existential issues.

It is my wish to create a compassionate and spacious environment where the client can have more contact with his or her authenticity while letting various concerns arise. In this space, what deeply helps guide the work is a warm, relational, and non-judgmental approach.

VIPASSANA/MEDITATION BACKGROUND
I have had a daily sitting practice for 13 years, and sit retreats annually. Vipassana has been the backbone of the path. For the past 9 years, I have also focused on the spiritual practice of being in relationship, and awareness in daily living through the Diamond Approach, and various Tibetan practices.

RELEVANT CLINICAL TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
MFT in Transpersonal Psychology from John F. Kennedy University.
Trauma training with Babette Rothschild, Pat Ogden, and various other somatically-oriented teachers.
