DESCRIPTION OF CLINICAL PRACTICE
I offer an integrated approach that incorporates relational, family systems, narrative, behavioral, and mindfulness-based modalities. My background and training are diverse, and I pull from various traditions in order to best serve my clients. I work with children, adolescents, and adults. My clinical experience includes working with depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles, life transitions, questions regarding identity and career path, and clients with a desire for greater self-insight.


VIPASSANA/MEDITATION BACKGROUND
I have been interested in and practicing meditation for 15+ years. Most of my training has been in the vipassana/insight meditation community, and I also studied while living in Nepal several years ago. I am currently enrolled in Spirit Rock's Community Dharma Leader program, and I recently completed a dissertation on mindfulness in early motherhood.

RELEVANT CLINICAL TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
I hold a Master's degree from Harvard University, with a focus on counseling youth at-risk. I hold a Doctorate (Psy.D.) from the California Institute of Integral Studies in Clinical Psychology.
