Allowing adults and couples to find connection and foster relationship with trust, meaning and aliveness. My primary goal is to provide a therapeutic relationship to both promote and provide trust and resiliency. In my work, I promote stability to better live in community, better self understanding or ourselves and in relationship to others and symptom and problem relief. Each individual, couple or family is a unique system; clarifying and assessing, promoting ease and developing new ways to feel alive, with a true sense of agency in the world, with honesty and integrity of self is the goal of our work together.

In my practice, I incorporate my expertise from treatment provided in hospitalization programs, seeking to maintain the right balance of support and challenge. I listen for both what is said, what is not said, and bring attention to emerging feelings, thoughts, behaviors, and insights. This is predicated on the honest and open of both client and therapist, co-creating the relationship together. Treatment plans can be helpful in both evaluating what is needed and also to provide a secure boundary for our work together. The fundamental trust, security and honest reflection of self in therapy can be lead to a unifying sense of self and other with moments of joy, pain, respect and wonder, fear and laughter.

Experiencing new ways for you to feel honestly alive allows for the reclamation of and intention of internal freedom and success.

In 2007, I began a daily practice of meditation, my teachers being Gil Fronsdal and Tara Brach. My daily sitting practice allows for clear observation, acceptance, and also includes the practices of equanimity, metta, and loving kindness. Teachings inform my growth as a therapist and the practice of mindfulness and meditation are core to my life and work.
